24 Hour Badminton Marathon
On October 31st to November 1st
the club ran its first 24 hour badminton event. This event took place during
National Badminton Week. Many members both past and present attended this fun
event to help raise funds for the refurbishment of the club. This event proved
to be great fun as several members played in Halloween costumes. The club would
wish to thank all those who took part in the event and hope to do this again
next year.
Winter League
There will be a league commencing in the club prior to
Christmas. The format has still to be decided. Notice of this event will be
going up very soon on the club notice bards so as they say watch this
space.
Membership Forms
Membership Fees are now due. Membership forms are
available in the club for both adults and juveniles. Alternatively they can be
downloaded here Adult Form and Juvenile Form .
Singles Ladder
This year will see the return of the singles ladder
(no this is not for all those lonely badminton players out there). This is due
to start in January and will run until April more details
soon.
Club Welcome Pack
This year the club announced a new welcome package
for all new members. This package outlines all the details for a prospective
member. These packs are available in the club or can be downloaded from here.
